While you may think credit card companies are evil, turns out Discover has a nice side. They give up to 10 scholarships per year, each one totaling a whopping $30,000 in scholarship money. Unlike any of the other scholarships on our crazy college scholarships site, you don’t really have to do anything out of the ordinary to apply for this scholarship. This is why we at Crazy College Scholarships consider this crazy scholarship to be crazy (I dare you to say Crazy College Scholarships three times fast. Do it now.) due to the fact that they’re giving away $30,000 to a high school Junior who just has to have a cumulative GPA over 2.75 for 9th and 10th grades and demonstrates leadership in their community, and describes an experience where they have had to overcome a significant challenge. Guys and Girls, this is the stuff you’ve been asked a million times before when applying to anything significant, and we know we all know what to say (and if you don’t, get crackin’). The craziest part? You don’t even need to be going to college to apply for this scholarship. You can use the funds towards any post-high school training, licensing, technical degrees, or college degrees.
